Project Operations Readiness

Operations Readiness (OR) is a formal process encompassing all activities under an asset owner’s responsibility for Operation’s input and preparation to safely operate project delivered asset(s) including people, equipment, and all business procedures, and processes.

OR includes:

• Operational input to design, including equipment selection.
• Commissioning & Start-Up (CSU) process.
• Start-Up & Ramp-Up (SU&RU) process to stabilized operations with sustained performance at or above nameplate capacity.

OR ensures:

• Assets are designed and built for life cycle reliability / cost.
• The People are ready.
• The Systems are ready.
• The Processes and Procedures are ready.
